Trick To Hide Folders or Files Using Command Prompt
Let’s simulate you have a folder named “special files” and its been stored in the E: drive of your computer, and you wishes to hide and keep it save, chill as this trick simply helps you do that.
The most amazing part of it is that once a folders or files is been hidden using the below method the hidden folders/files could not be found using any search options even on the “Show All Hidden Files and Folders” options.
To learn how to hide folders or files using command prompt follow the steps below:
- Press window key + R to open the Run command dialog box.
- Type cmd and hit enter to display the command prompt window .
- Now type attrib +s +h E:\special files and hit enter.
- The folder "special files" will be hidden.
Note: To view the hidden folders / files again, use the same command but replace '+' with '-' on both flags 's' and 'h' in step 3.
